This project aims to address the socio-economic vulnerability of the climate-include migrants which has been further compounded by COVID- 19 living in urban slums in Khulna and Satkhira. We would like to solve the core identified problem through a three-pronged but integrated programme to bring a lasting change in the life of the climate migrants. We would focus on i) Creating resilience to COVID-19 related vulnerability of the climate migrants in low income communities; ii) Reducing social vulnerability and exclusion including WASH deprivation among climate migrants; and ii) Promoting alternative climate adaptive livelihood options to mitigate economic shocks facing climate migrants.
